Elevated Plank One Armed Rows View this post on Instagram @mcohen08 demonstrating a variation of one-armed (and one-legged) rows (similar to bird dog rows) that challenges his ability to stabilize and keep tension within his body in multiple regions and through various planes. I like doing these off two benches as opposed to the ground for people with longer arms or who can safely do this through longer ranges of motion. _ It's important to note that if the goal is to simply strengthen scapular musculature, there's no need to impose all these elements of instability on the body. But occasionally exercises such as these are fun ways to mix it up and to help teach the body how to not leak tension where it needs it.
