Running and Burning Fat?

With the weather getting warmer, how often do you hear people say "I need to do more cardio" as the best solution to burn fat?

There's absolutely nothing wrong with running and you can get great results and health benefits from it. But there are a lot more efficient exercises with more bang for your buck if torching fat is your goal. I rarely ever do steady-state cardio unless if training for a race.
